CINE 300 Topics in Film and History


Examines films as a significant medium of commentary on society and history. Explores the motives and careers of moviemakers, the ways in which films are influenced by their audiences, and how audiences perception of historical processes are affected by films. Topics will vary. Prerequisite: A course in History and/or a course in Cinema Studies. 3 hours.
