CINE 490 The Films of Ingmar Bergman
Focuses on Bergman's major films of the late 1950s and 1960s; involves reading screenplays and extensive criticism in addition to viewing the films; and includes important artistic influences on Bergman as well as his own significance as a major twentieth-century artist. Knowledge of Swedish not required. 3 hours.
