Cinema Studies Links: Theory
- ScreenSite. ScreenSite fosters thoughtful, critical approaches to media. Its primary purpose is to facilitate the study of film/TV, and it stresses the teaching and research of film and television. It provides access to film and television resources through the World Wide Web; the site supports versions in French, German, Spanish, and Swedish as well as English.
- Semiotics.
The Semiotics for Beginners site provides a good intelligible introduction to semiotic theory, with many examples specifically taken from the cinema.
