A Partial List of Cinema-Related Courses for Supporting Coursework in the Cinema Studies Concentration Students in the Cinema Studies concentration of the Interdisciplinary Studies Major are required to complete "Twelve hours of supporting coursework." The following courses, selected from the list of courses fulfilling LAS General Education requirements, are among those which may be used to fulfill the "supporting coursework" requirement. The list is provided only as a sample and as an encouragement to students to explore new areas of related studies. This selection does not imply that these are the only courses which may be used to fulfill this requirement, nor does it imply that students should necessarily try to satisfy this requirement only with Gen Ed courses or that only lower level courses should be used. Students should also be aware that courses used as their supporting coursework should have some coherence
as a group with respect to their subject matter and that they should be selected in consultation with the Concentration Advisor.
